Katrina Fong (PhD Candidate) in the media!

S/P PhD Candidate Katrina Fong just recently published her research "What Does My Avatar Say About Me? Inferring Personality from Avatars" in Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin.

As the title suggests, this research explores how individuals create online avatars that communicate elements of their own personality.

This research has been picked up by the international media and is stirring quite the buzz. It's been picked up by such outlets as 'The Wall Street Journal', 'The Washington Post' and 'TIME' to name a few.

Congrats to Katrina and The Mar Lab!! Way to get the word out on the awesome research being done in the Social-Personality Area at York University. Making us all proud.
