S/P Brownbag: Dr. Tae Hart (Ryerson)

The Social-Personality Colloquium Series was pleased to feature Dr. Tae Hart from Ryerson University.

She presented her talk "Psychological Effects of Gay and Bisexual Men’s Treatment for Prostate Cancer".

Dr. Hart completed a PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles and then held a National Institute of Mental Health postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University's School of Medicine. Dr. Hart is currently a professor in the Psychology department at Ryerson University. Her research focuses on psychological factors associated with adjustment to illness in chronically-ill individuals. Primarily, her work has investigated quality of life, psychological distress, and symptom burden in patients who have been diagnosed with cancer, multiple sclerosis, or gastrointestinal disorders.
